Abstract | Nautilus is a Multithreaded Distributed Shared Memory system based on scope consistency. The multithread implementation permits no use of SIGIO signals and to minimize the context switch of traditional processes. We show and compare the speedup of a new DSM system, Nautilus, with an important DSM used by the academic community: JIAJIA. This comparison is done submitting four different benchmarks to both DSM systems, which are: EP (from NAS), LU (kernel from SPLASH-II), Matmul (matrix multiplication) and SOR (from Rice University). |
