| Abstract | In Colombia, the creation of enterprises SMEs due to high rates of entrepreneurship in search of boost own economy or family member and at the same time grows daily in a way significantly of the country. However, the indicator of failure of such enterprises in its first to non is high and therefore worrying, this is not only to economic factors in the country or by the State political deficient about them, many of these companies fail to sustain over time due to inadequate decision-making on the part of the enterprise management. The present study addressed the importance of the financial audit as the most useful tool in the management of financial information generating a coherent assessment. From this analysis, it determines the behavior and operational development of the company, these results allow decision making effectively, by implementing this audit an organization productive and administrative processes generate continuous improvement, achieving a solid support over time. |
