Abstract	The deficiency of finding and selecting digital content suitable for learning is a routine activity of the teacher. Recommendation systems play a key role in the process of suggesting relevant objects, with the use of ontologies in such systems elevate the semantic representation of both the learner and the content. Therefore, this paper proposes an ontology called YoutubeOntology, which aims to store information about YouTube videos, channels and playlists. This ontology aims to aid in the search and selection of content associated with the characteristics of the learner. Resumo. A dificuldade de encontrar e selecionar conteúdos digitais adequados para o aprendizado é uma atividade rotineira do professor. Sistemas de recomendação exercem um papel fundamental no processo de sugerir objetos relevantes e com o uso de ontologias em tais sistemas eleva a representação semântica tanto do aprendiz como do conteúdo. Diante disso, este artigo propõe uma ontologia denominada de YoutubeOntology, que tem como objetivo armazenar informações dos vídeos, canais e playlists do YouTube. Esta ontologia visa auxiliar na busca e seleção de conteúdos associadas às características do aprendiz.
