| Abstract | The bioclimatics conditions in the forest-and-savanna-dominated Ivory Coast Country have been subjected to high variability in bioclimatic conditions. At the same time, changes in the dynamics of forest cover are observed. The environmental change since the sixties is related to the strong mobility of the rural populations. The strong resulting land leads to in evitable and profound changes in the forest cover. The climatic uncertainty and the decrease in the forested areas lead to an important decline of the agricultural productivity. This situation particulary affect the cacao culture. In front of the incapacities of the public policy to restore the forest’s ecosystem, the agroforestry has become a solution for the survival of the Ivorian agriculture in particular, and of the African agriculture in general. But, in order to facilitate the access of this agro-environnemental method, it is important to take political, economical and social dispositions. |
