| Abstract | The formation University of our state, is now faced with a great challenge: The European Area of Higher Education, known as "Process of Bologna". This is certainly structural and curricular change most significant in recent years. Its main characterization could be defined as the alignment of training to the demands of society and to its productive base, as well as the provision of this training in new areas, giving to teachings and practices of "practicum" a greater weight in the curriculum, empowering productive spaces for these new features, creating new professional figures to assume, as well as enhancing basic and applied research as the basis for the transfer of learnings and curriculum design with reference to the existing and emerging professional profiles. This is the focus of this article, in which we intend to reflect on these issues and if possible, provide possible solutions, based on different experiences both in the work of University professor, as in other professional fields. We start with an initial focus about challenges we face at university teachers both in terms of training and those referred to the new requirements of our professional chore: whom have to be in tune with the social demands, the system requirements and productive advances in scientific research. As a result, the formation of a university professor, you have to be in accordance with any change that takes place within work organizations both technological and other legislative aspects, organizational, cultural and attitudinal as well as with changes in the investigation. It will be therefore a dynamic training, marked by continuum training. It will respond to a formation which it will have very much present economic realities of the business and its competitiveness in a globalized world, where they predominate transnational markets such as the European Union. Encompassing well a wide variety of social phenomena, political and economic. The processes of economic change, capital mobility, increased international trade in goods and services, the interdependence of financial markets, the transformation exponential communications and the real-time availability of information, are producing profound impacts on society contemporary, that academics should not overlook. |
