| Abstract | The main purpose of the research was to design a prototype of an application to link the technologies with language skills based on teachers and student’s knowledge and also the current theory. These are seen sometimes as an obstacle or even seen as not functional, instead, they need to be understood as a tool and a path that supports teaching and learning in the classroom for early childhood. For this, it was considered what was proposed by two institutions: Colegio Bilbao and The English School. To achieve this, an ethnography of existing applications, semi-structured interviews, participant observation with the application prototype and an evaluation of it was used. Finally, it was found that the use of a digital application can be functional and appropriate in early childhood for all kinds of population, taking into account their needs, motivations and interests of each one of the users linked. |
