Abstract	It is known that oil is, among the fossil fuel, the one with the highest demand. It is essential for the operation of the world economy. For that reason, any change in the oil price has a direct impact on the world market and on the production of goods and services. The objective of this investigation is to analyze the impact of oil price on the international market. Prior to the impact assessment, the evolution of international oil prices in the international market is reviewed in current and actual terms. It is then confirmed that the price of oil has reached record levels; however, the current price is still below actual levels. A second analysis is carried out with regard to the world market situation associated with fuel, in which the factors influencing the demand increase and those restricting the supply are shown separately. This work also provides concepts, trends and analysis conducted by other investigators and other authors. The methods used to carry out this investigation were analysis-synthesis; induction-deduction; review of materials and Microsoft Office tools.
