| Abstract | This article focuses on investigating the signific an e of what is to be guardian in the current information society and knowledge, in the s c nario of distance education and to present models are "custodians" entered in the various area s of the Brazilian education. Today, we realize that information and knowledge are tied to technology and thus extend various forms of communication and interaction between students, tea chers, teaching and administrative staff. In this sense, the question is what is to be "guardian " in distance education in Brazil. What really means to be a tutor? How is the construction of the individual and collective identities of tutors in the daily college-level courses? Questions are l ist d for people who debate this topic. The methodology consisted of a literature review with a view to conducting a document analysis. |
