| Abstract | Along with high development of the Internet, integrating multimedia materials into web-based learning system is a good way to enhance learning. However, to transfer multimedia materials smoothly from content provider to students through the network is another concerned issue. Overall, it is important to develop a web-based learning platform appropriate to both learning requirements and network resource limits. First, some important factors affecting the network learning system was discussed. Then, the learning system was thoroughly evaluated by simulation. Finally, the simulation result was shown and some suggestion was provided to modify web-based learning system. Furthermore, the simulation tools can be easily and iteratively utilized to obtain good web-based learning systems by modifying input parameters corresponding to learning requirements.
