Abstract	The present investigation of pre experimental type; whose purpose was to determine the influence of family caregiver training on the quality of life of the patient with cerebrovascular disease at Victor Lazarte Echegaray Hospital during the months of September to November 2017. The sample consisted of a total of 72 family caregivers with their respective patients who are attended in the emergency service met the inclusion criteria, for the comparison of the pre and post test the student's t-test was used, reaching the following conclusions: The average score obtained before the training, it was 6.16 and after participating in the learning sessions, family caregivers achieved an average score of 18.5. 73.6 percent of family caregivers reported that their patients with cerebrovascular disease had a poor quality of life, 26.4 percent regular, after participating in the training they reported that the patients They improved their quality of life as good by 84.7 percent and only 15.3 percent did not find a poor quality of life. The average achieved before applying the family caregiver training was 6.16 and after applying the training the average was 18.5 (p <0.05) showing that there is a significant relationship t students 27.991.
