Abstract	The articles presents the results of a simulation research on the Parallel Active Power Filters (PAPF) in networks of various impedances. A typical, most often used device of an APF working on the basis of the current distortion has been compared with the device working on the basis of the identification of the network's voltage distortion. (The influence of low voltage network’s impedance on parallel active power filter’s performance controlled with the use of two different control algorithms).
