| Abstract | Planning and operation of electrical power networks involves extensive simulation-based evaluation of system behavior, in order to determine operating limits that are robust to credible contingencies. The resulting decisions have tremendous economic and reliability implications. It is well known, however, that the parameters of many dynamic models are quite uncertain. Load model parameters, in particular, are often a source of appreciable error. |
