| Abstract | The main objective of this present study is to eval uate, for a normalised mortar, the strengthening ef fect with CFRP plates on its creep and shrinkage behavio ur. Short-term creep tests were thus performed at 7 and 28 days. The specimens were strengthened with composite plates on two opposite faces, and tested at a sustained load of 30% of the ultimate strength. T his paper also presents shrinkage and loss in mass evolution of similar specimens strengthened at 28 d ays. The experimental results show a clear improvement of short-term creep behaviour in the pr esence of the composite, in particular at 28 days. In the configuration tested, the shrinkage does not se em to be deteriorated by the reinforcement. Mots-clefs : Composite PRFC ; fluage ; retrait. |
