Abstract	Exploratory analysis of the Airways Questionnaire 20 (AQ20) in Colombian patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease Introduction: Literature refers the high impact of COPD on the quality of life in patients, but not exist valid instruments to measure it, therefore the objective of this study was to analyze the Colombian version of the questionnaire Airways Questionnaire 20 (AQ20) in a Colombian sample of patients diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Methods: Psychometric study, the questionnaire was applied to 71 adult patients diagnosed with COPD in Bogotá city. Results: Factor analysis indicates four factors: physical damages, emotional damages, damages in social life, disruption in activities of daily living, and a Cronbach’s alpha of 92. Conclusions: The results show high reliability and factor structure in accordance with the original version, which implies adequate validity of the test in Colombian population of COPD.
