| Abstract | The present investigation was carried out in the country property the Future of property of Mr. Marcos Fuertes, located in canton Valencia to 1 km in the road to San Pablo The Rios' county, in the geographical coordinates they are South latitude 1°, 25',0"; longitude West 79°, 25', 38.4", Altitude 90 msnm; the investigation lasted four months. The work consisted on determining the effects of the chemical fertilization in the cucumber production (Cucumis sativus L.) in the area of Valencia. The fertilizer sources were proven in the treatments T1 Blue Enrikecidas, T2 Yaramila, T3 special Nutrifares, T4 Witness (Urea) in dose of 350 kg/ha. A design of Complete Blocks was used at Random (DBCA) with 4 treatments and 4 repetitions. The results obtained in this investigation are The biggest height of plant 147.80 cm, l bigger number of flowers for plant 18.50, bigger number of fruits for plant 10.67, bigger longitude of fruit 19.91 cm, bigger diameter of fruit 5.02 cm, bigger weight of fruit 411.60 grams, bigger production for plant 4.40 kg/plants, bigger production for parcel 92.18 kg/parcel and, the biggest yield of fruit 58.520 kilos for hectare presents it the treatment T2 (Yaramila 350 kg/ha). The beginning of to flourish of the plants went to the 45 days after to sow. The beginning of the cucumber crop went to the 70 days after to sow. The biggest utility $2872.30 USD one has with the treatment T2 (Yaramila 350 kg/ha) that generates a relationship benefit/coast similar to 1.49.
