| Abstract | Discussed is the issue of status of the determination, presentation and publication of multivariate measurement data as continuation of the publications of PAR 2 and 6 of 2011. Basic rules for the description of the statistically related measurement results by random vectors algebra are given. Problems becoming with rounding of vector measurands are discussed. Propagation of uncertainty of nonlinear functions in the measurement of single-and multi-parameter is presented. Determined is the number of members of Taylor series of nonlinear functions required for accurate determination of uncertainty. It was shown that the four fundamental physical constants published in the recent revisions of the CODATA 2010 are still incorrectly given, as they correlation matrix has negative eigenvalues. Corrected recommendations for expressing the results of multivariate measurements should be included in Supplement 2 to guide GUM-2008, which is in preparation and be published in the near future. It is proposed that as necessary complement to it was the urgently needed standardization of the publishing measurement data in dual form: so far – on paper and on the accompanying e-publication containing the results of the original measurements. Discusses a way of collecting and disseminating data already taken by the world’s leading data centers. Given are also a brief conclusions and bibliography. |
