Abstract	This paper aims to inquire about the strategies used by the Partido Democrata Nacional de Tucuman (PDNT) during the presidential campaign of 1937. In this sense, we will analyze the difficulties of Democrats to unite their ranks, crossed by the internal factionalization because of the existence of diverse oppositions among its members, manifest on one side in the confrontation between "traditionalists" and "renewal", and another in the struggle between the various forces that went into the formation of the party and the structuring of the local coalition called the Concordance. To this internal conflict PDNT joined the difficult linkages with national spheres, both party and government, as a result of political structure that characterized the Concordance.
