| Abstract | The Commissioner of Education has issued revised regulations to facilitate implementation of education reform in the 30 Abbott districts. According to the Commissioner, “These regulations provide a blueprint for school-wide reform in our disadvantaged urban areas and will help Abbott districts achieve our Core Curriculum Content Standards.” The Commissioner stated that the regulations build on the experiences of the past twenty-four months in the Abbott districts, as well as the input received from many groups and individuals who participated in focus groups, submitted written comments or spoke at public hearings. |
