Abstract	Resumen Con motivo de la celebracion de los 40 anos de la Revista Interamericana de Bibliotecologia, es pertinente recordar como se asumio la actual direccion de la Revista: en que panorama se encontraba, cuales eran y como se superaron muchos de los inconvenientes a los que habia que hacerle frente en aquel entonces. En el numero anterior se hizo un recorrido historico y se recordaron los equipos y comites editoriales que han contribuido a que la RIB aun este vigente. En esta oportunidad, nos concentraremos en el proceso editorial que se ha llevado a cabo desde 2013 y la proyeccion para enfrentar los cambios que plantea el modelo de comunicacion cientifica actual, porque es claro que cada cambio de epoca y avance tecnologico ha representado, y representa, un nuevo reto para el Equipo Editorial de la RIB. RIB Editorial Process: Stabilization and Development in the Last 5 Years Abstract On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Revista Interamericana de Bibliotecologia, it is pertinent to remember how the current direction of the Journal was assumed: What was the situation, what were and how were overcome the disadvantages faced back then. In the previous issue, a historical tour was made and the teams and editorial committees that have contributed to the RIB being still in force were remembered. In this opportunity, we will focus on the editorial process that has been carried out since 2013, and the projection to face the changes posed by the current scientific communication model, because it is clear that each change of time and technological advance have represented, and represent, a new challenge for the Editorial Team of the RIB.
