| Abstract | This investigative work takes as its main purpose the study of Cost Effectiveness of the quadrivalent vaccine against human papilloma virus compared to routine checks for the Prevention of Genital Warts in men and women of Ecuador. For this purpose we used the analytical, descriptive and quantitative method, taking into account that this project is a study of effectiveness same was based on three assumptions, the Markov model, market costs of using health services for the care of this disease and vaccine effectiveness for prevention mentioned HPV 6/11 strain causes genital warts. The methodology of this research work lies in an analysis to identify the benefits and costs of the program to thereby determine the program's impact on the possibilities raised. The results obtained in this research showed economic evaluations, aimed at estimating the benefits of specified programs in order to strengthen and improve decision making in implementing the cost-effectiveness of the quadrivalent vaccine against human papillomavirus, in implementing public health programs. |
