| Abstract | The construction has a role of fundamental importance for the economy of our country, however it is also a sector marked by a high frequency of work accidents. This study was conducted based on the preparation of a Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA) of a work of construction. The dangers/ risks present in the corresponding execution of process steps structural elements were raised. From the data collection and analysis through the APR, it was possible to identify the hazards in the process steps and determine the risk of workers being exposed to these dangers. From the APR, it was possible to propose control measures to minimize the effects of hazard/ dangers identified, helping as a tool of mitigation of work accidents in this segment. |
