Abstract	One element is the presence of supporting performance in the workplace are listed. One way of recording employee attendance is by means of automation or computerization. ABA YIPK Yogyakarta is a foundation that moves in the field of education, especially foreign language majors. In efforts to achieve a better work productivity, attendance factor is important, especially related to payroll, labor discipline and work performance. Presence recording of employees is one important factor in the management of human resources. Employee attendance system ABA YIPK Yogyakarta today still use the tool usage manually. We have not been using computerized systems. Along with the development, the foundation need repair step by step in the employee attendance. The system running this has several weaknesses including the possibility of opportunity in which the employee dishonesty other peers registering working time is not itself a term buddy punching. This makes the recording of employee time and attendance becomes inaccurate. In attendance recording system that has not been computerized, it takes a long time to mengentri data. Therefore, to improve this system is made of a biometric-based attendance system (fingerprint), which is more accurate in identifying a person through fingerprints.
