| Abstract | The dependence of the relative capacity and specific electron resistance of the NiOOH/Ni(OH)2 active substance are studied as functions of the charge current and the sizing of the particles of the conducting additive of metal nickel. It is shown that, in the intensive charge modes, the conducting layer appears on the surfaces of the active substance particles. In the galvanostatic mode, this layer blocks the charging process at one end and, at the other, it enables the rapid increase of the oxygen output. |
