| Abstract | In view of the current economic context, works of civil engineering for erosion control is not adequate anymore. One of the Cemagref’s research in ecological engineering is to estimate the interest of the Ramial Chipped Wood (Bois Raméal Fragmenté : BRF) against erosion. This study concerned the implementation and the follow-up of experiments allowing having a better knowledge about the BRF’s properties, when it is implanted in eroded fields. The aims were encouraging information on the technology of BRF in revegetation for erosion control, when it is deposited on surfaces not subjected to concentrated flow. However this technology remains delicate to set up. Other studies seem necessary to define zones to be treated firstly and foremost for a benefit of effectiveness. |
