Abstract	EnglishTerritory and life quality: complexities of the social-spatial exclusion of the homeless in Porto Alegre, RS, Brasil. This study presents a discussion focused on the territoriality of social inclusion and exclusion, tracing the relationship between individuals in the state of extreme poverty and excluding line and, the process of building in city areas. The object of our study is to understand the intensity of the territoriality done by the people who live in the streets of Porto Alegre and, how the geography can help on the study of this matter. An important aspect that was observed is that the bonds between individuals and space has become a condition for the establishment of the relationships inside the territory, These relationships are extremely fragile in the life of the homeless, showing a very weak and unstable kind of territoriality. portuguesA discussao presente neste trabalho procura analisar a questao de territorialidades de exclusao e inclusao social, estabelecendo-se a relacao entre individuos em estado extremo de exclusao e o processo de apropriacao do espaco urbano. Nesse sentido, o objeto de estudo sao os moradores de rua da cidade de Porto Alegre, onde se procura compreender a intensidade da territorialidade por eles exercida no territorio e como a Geografia pode contribuir para o estudo da tematica proposta. Uma importante constatacao e que os vinculos que ligam o individuo ao espaco, e que se tornam condicao de estabelecimento de uma relacao no territorio sao extremamente frageis na vida dos moradores de rua, caracterizando uma territorialidade exercida de forma debilitada e instavel.
