| Abstract | Based on work and investigation experience with patients in crisis within psychiatric and general hospital emergency services, there are proposed ideas regarding to the boarding of the border personality disorder in that context. Some ideas on the particularities of the so called parasuicide of the border patient are explored, describing those elements which should be considered when performing an intervention of this nature and that constitute a variant in the standard modality of this kind of therapy. The topic of dose-effect in psychotherapy is discussed and the use of crisis intervention technique as initial treatment in psychological attention massive services is proposed. |
