Abstract	The question of Gaya Wicks et.al. "How can we change things at the same time as studying them?" Is a motivator for reflection on how we can change things at the same time we study them. During graduation inside the academy, there is a way to answer that question. Thus, the present study consists to analyzing the influence in the (trans) formation of undergraduate / graduate students in Administration of the Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto (UFOP), who participated / participated in extension projects during graduation, thus practicing the methodology of research-action (RA), a line of research associated with forms of collective action, oriented towards problem solving or transformation objectives. Although an action research prioritizes the empirical side, it is not intended to disregard the essentiality of theoretical research, but to reaffirm that the relationship between teaching - research - extension, essential activities in the Federal Institution of Higher Education (FIHE), when associated (trans) training of the student, when relating the theoretical and practical requirements for the equation of relevant problems within a given social web. Besides the theoretical framework, the present investigation was also based on the analysis of semi structured interviews, with six (6) individuals, recently graduated administrators and students in the process of training of the Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto (UFOP), which points out that there is, in fact, a (trans) formation, which justifies the purposeful spelling of the word that guides this work, admitting its complete meaning of “transformation” and also its sense of “formation”.
