| Abstract | The process of European Convergence to a “Higher Education Common European Space” is fostering a new social and environmental situation and, also, some educational innovation that requires the development of new skills. University syllabi need to include contents to provide sustainability proficiency to the graduates, so they can transfer this knowledge to the context of their professional activities. These requirements demand: - The implementation of the aspects regarding teaching activities in the document “Sustainable Bologna”, this document was issued by the Copernicus Campus Network”. - The deployment of new pedagogical tools in order to ease the acquisition by the students of these new skills on environmentally and socially sustainable human development. Considering these requirements, an empiric study has been done with a sample of professors from the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Valencia. |
