| Abstract | Colombia as a developing country faces the challenges of slow industrial infrastructure especially in primary need to produce enough quality, that competitiveness in the domestic and foreign market demands. The domestic consumer is saturated with offers and acculturation on the product make it challenging and in the case of our country, the demand for quality turns out to be vulnerable and penetrable especially issues related to corruption, an issue that will not be studied in this work and demanding technical standards low demand sophistry employed as protection; the fact is that the last decade has allowed understand understand the need to be at levels of global competition; technical reflection of the private sector and strategic and political necessity of the Colombian state that needs to be part of the international context, to meet the demands and requirements of globalization and the multilateral trading system. Therefore the country should point to new concepts of standardization and global certification to the supply chain, where you think about having a competitive advantage nationally and internationally. The standardization of processes is critical to the success of all businesses should start to generate new legacies on their internal activities to meet the needs of individuals without neglecting organizational needs (Rodriguez, 2005, p. 88). As regards the certification must seek and demonstrate that the processes meet the criteria of the standard where the quality system may lead to an objective of continuous compliance with operational processes over time with the requirements defined by the standard . |
