| Abstract | The industries new interest with the development of new alloys metallic light has been increasing in the last years and the main automotive industry. The economic pressures such as the petroleum reserves and your derivatives that suffer constant oscillations of price are essential for the vehicles, and also the announced recent of the scientific community alerting about the global heating, increasing the control of the gassy emissions in the industries. In this context the factors external of pressure front to the industries and lowest density of all metallic construction materials do of the magnesium alloys with great interest research. The system alloys MG-Al-RE-Ca has great performance the creep with similar results of the aluminum alloy ADC12 used as gearbox housing in the VW-Passat (Volkswagem AG). In the papers meets may articles those relationships solidifications conditions and mechanical properties for the alloys aluminum, copper and steel, however it has few papers about alloys magnesium that relationships solidifications conditions and mechanical properties, probably because for higher temperatures, the rate of oxidation becomes extremely rapid could set on fire. In the present work, the aim of this study consisted of the analyses solidifications conditions to correlate with mechanical properties of alloys ZAXLa05413 and AZ91. The alloys studies were casting in special furnace for thermal analysis. The ingots were extracted specimen for analyzed macrostructure, microstructure and tension specimen for uniaxial tension test. |
