| Abstract | El objetivo de este trabajo es hacer una breve descripcion sobre los resultados obtenidos despuesde la firma del TLCAN. Los promotores del tlcan esperaban que la liberalizacion comercial actuaria como el motor de crecimiento economico que tanto se habia estado buscando las decadas anteriores, lo cual se veria reflejado en el incremento de las exportaciones manufactureras, se crearian los empleos bien remunerados que el pais necesitaba para atender la mayor oferta de trabajo que se incorporaba ano con ano al mercado laboral mexicano, y contener asi a los trabajadores indocumentados que migraban en busca de empleo en aquel pais, ademas de incrementar las compras mexicanas a EUA. Clasificacion JEL: F02, F10, F14, F22, O15. Abstract The aim of this paper is to give a brief description of the results obtained after the signing of NAFTA. The NAFTA promoters hoped that trade liberalization could act like the engine of economic growth which had been looking for many years ago, this should be reflected in the manufacturing exports increase, also the well-paying jobs would be created that the country needed to attend labor supply, that year after year incorporating the mexican labor market, contain undocumented workers migrating for employment to that country, and increase purchases from mexican to USA. |
