Various approaches studying the decentralization of production, changes in working conditions, and the organization of the companies on a global scale, as well as new strategies to concentrate fi nancial and technological resources, at the national level tend to focus on national systems of innovation. In what ways do companies adapt and enter global production networks? How these changes affect labor relations and development? In this context, the author suggests developing a hypothesis that articulates the complex relationship between the transfer of research and development functions, the already inadequate mechanism of patents, and the new strategies to control global knowledge networks. |
