Abstract	The main objective of the study is to evaluate the innovation degree in technology-based companies, based on the Innovation Radar, proposed by Sawhney, Wolcott e Arroniz (2006), which is based in twelve dimensions of innovation. This study recognizes the importance of innovation as a strategic differentiator and as a condition for business success and longevity in the competitive market. The study presents a historical perspective of innovation, and various definitions of the term innovation, including the holistic view in which this study is based. It presents the main methodologies used to measure innovation in organizations, emphasizing the Innovation Radar. It is presented a historical evolution of incubation in Brazil and in the world and the main concepts and definitions related to the topic, due to its decisive interference in the environment to create innovative enterprises. The study objects of the research are the technology-based incubators and the companies incubated in them. At the end, it is possible to evaluate that the companies innovate mainly in the dimensions clients and presence, and the dimensions processes and supply chain are being under-exploited. In addition, a comparative study was performed by incubation time and among the incubators surveyed. As the final product of the study, an electronic tool was created to measure the degree of innovation in companies, which evaluates the evolution related to innovation in incubated companies.
