Abstract	M M R his year, 2010, the National Kidney Foundation’s (NKF) Kidney Early Evaluation Proram (KEEP) marks a decade of data collection s a part of its multicenter screening program for olunteer participants at risk of chronic kidney isease (CKD). During the years, KEEP has ielded important inferences regarding CKD epiemiologic characteristics and risk factors, and elated comorbid conditions, including hypertenion, metabolic syndrome, diabetes, bone and ineral disorder, anemia, and heart disease, have een characterized and reported. This suppleent to the American Journal of Kidney Disases highlights 4 articles: (1) a 10th anniversary ummary of KEEP milestones; (2) a comparison f CKD among elderly KEEP participants, the ational Health and Nutrition and Examination urvey (NHANES), and Medicare recipients; (3) n examination of the cluster of obesity and etabolic syndrome in racial categories; and (4) description of the impact of microalbuminuria n CKD identification.
