| Abstract | The following research project is based on the three-dimensional model of the critical discourse analysis (CDA) made by Norman Fairclough. It aims to critically analyze the content of the documents of public policy in Colombia related to bilingualism, professional training and competitiveness in the period between 1992 and 2011. It attempts to state a conceptualization of words as bilingualism, professional training and competitiveness, as well as to establish criteria for the analytic discourse of the public policy. In the same sense, this study leads to analyze in a critical way the discourse contented in the documents of public policy in Colombia, in order to make clear the purpose of the discourse provided in relationship to the bilingual education of the professional training. |
