| Abstract | The objective of this work was to design an instrument that would establish the correlation between variables of physical, personality and socioeconomic attractiveness that take into account Colombian women of different ethnicities such as white, mestizo and black to choose an affective partner. The instrument consists of a photographic gallery, a Likert scale to evaluate the personality trait and a list with a multiple response option that allows FACTORES EN EL ATRACTIVO INTERPERSONAL QUE INFLUYEN DE LOS HOMBRES 10 the evaluation of socio-demographic characteristics. The instrument was applied to a sample of 30 women, 10 white, 10 mestizo ethnic and 10 white, between 18 and 30 years students of the Catholic University of Colombia. The respective analyzes to the results obtained indicate that there are differences between ethnic groups regarding the appreciation of physical attractiveness, however, there are no ethnic differences in personality and socioeconomic traits between ethnic groups. The results allow to conclude that there is a correlation between variables such as the physical attractiveness, personality and socioeconomic that women consider when choosing a couple. |
