| Abstract | The following research had as main objective to offer a characterization of the consumptionof marihuana in 4 university students of Bogota City. The research was made taking abehavioral perspective, understanding the topic and the information collected in function ofa functional analysis of the theme. For that purpose, the conceptualization of consumptionwas defined by using multiple perspectives of the concept, discriminating use, abuse anddependency one from another. Also, we debated the related factors involved in theconsumption of marihuana and their effects. This research used a qualitative observationalmethodology, in order to focus on the experience of consumers. The instrument used tocollect information were semi structured interviews, applied to 4 students of private and public universities, in order to analyze the narrative of participants. The collectedinformation was organized in an intertextuality matrix, to be analyzed according to thediscussed literature and consulted authors. Taking generalities and particularities from theexperiences of our participants, a functional analysis was made considering conditions,antecedents, behavior and consequences of the consumption of marihuana. |
