Abstract	Using data from a large-scale study among young people, the paper explores the relationship between different dimensions or expressions of sexual orientation – identity, sexual experiences, love and attraction – and victimisation. Is there a pattern of increased risk for victimisation along these dimensions for young people with same-sex orientations? The paper further explores wether increased risk for victimisation is linked to the same dimensions of sexual orientation for boys and girls. Theoretically. the paper is inspired by a multi-dimensional perspective on sexual orientation, i.e. a perspective that sees sexual orientation as a complex multifaceted phenomenon that cannot be reduced to a simplistic homo/hetero divide. The paper also discusses methodological aspects: How do the wording of questions, sample and operationalisations of sexual orientation influence results?
