| Abstract | The North American philosopher Martha Nussbaum has been worldwide recognized for her alternative position in relation to Human Development, since she has strongly criticized the economistic approach that has framed this concept for years, relegating to the background the development of the capabilities of each individual, and converting them into simple numbers that support the gross domestic product (GDP). As it is well known, the Colombian educational sector has not escaped from that problem; in fact the strong business competition between educational institutions has led to many of them (even some of the traditional ones) to lose their social formative approach and to allow that the dynamics of affiliation and social interaction that take place inside them do not reflect their founding principles, but on the contrary, they result in detrimental dynamics for the development of the capacities of the different individuals affiliated to these institutions. That is why this research seeks to reconstruct, interpret and identify the dynamics of affiliation and social interaction that negatively affect or promote the construction of an institutional identity within the capacity of affiliation of two educational communities in Bogota, in order to strengthen in each of them the dynamics that favor the development of the capacities of all its members. |
