| Abstract | Please elaborate the Background section of the abstract to place the study in the context of the current knowledge in the field, in addition to stating the aims of the research. Please remember to also update the abstract details on the submission page. The Abstract section was rephrased as requested and was updated on the submission page. MethodsPlease document under the Methods section the details of the institutional review board that granted ethical approval for the study. A paragraph was added to the last part of Methods – Data Sources: “The identification number of participants on all NHI claims data and NHIS data released by NHRI were scrambled to safeguard the confidentiality of individually identifiable information. This study, therefore, did not require institutional review board approval.” Competing Interest and Source of FundingPlease rename this section Competing Interests and delete the following sentences from the declaration: 'This study received no funding from any external source.'...'However, this paper involves no competing interest at all. The competing section has been renamed, and the two sentences deleted. We really appreciate the efforts of reviewers and the editor to make our manuscript much well addressed than its original version. We look forward to continuing our research efforts with BMC Public Health in the future. |
