Abstract	The Reales Chancillerias were a key organ in the configuration of the monarchy during the Ancien Regime. Born in the medieval age, the end of the reign of Fernando VII will bring about its definitive disappearance. Synonymous with high justice, during the first third of the nineteenth century the tradition persists that the president of the Reales Chancillerias, transformed in Audiencias during constitutional periods, give a speech at the beginning of the year. Precisely, the purpose of this study is to analyze the content of some of them, the most relevant in order to understand their concerns about the state of the administration of justice of the time.
