| Abstract | Objective: To evaluate the importance of ergonomics in feeding and nutrition units. Methodology: Integrative literature review carried out in Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS) and Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) databases. We selected 06 articles available between 2014 and 2018, which were grouped in the table and discussed based on the literature. Results: The studies discussed in this review highlight that a Food and Nutrition Unit (UAN) should always aim at improving the services provided, as a way to prevent occupational accidents by seeking safe and healthy conditions in the environment as a way to protect and preserve the lives of its employees. collaborators. All studies evaluated indicated inadequate work conditions associated with ergonomics. Among the main non-conformities, the following stand out: inadequate bench height, insufficient working light, noise and temperature above the recommended. Final considerations: The studies analyzed show that ergonomics is directly related to the quality of the work performed and that the ergonomic problems associated with the overload of the activities can compromise the health of the workers. |
