The Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) is a technique for converting a signal into elementary frequency components. It is widely used in image compression. Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) algorithm can compact the energy of image into a small number of coefficient, give combination information of frequency and time, so that more accurate to reconstruct of image. |
