| Abstract | The objective of this study was to evaluate banana growth variables cv. D'Angola with different plant densities, in both water levels and three levels of fertilization in the region of coastal plains. The experimental design was a randomized block design with four replications in a split plot. The plots understood fertilization levels (1.0, 1.25 and 1.5 of the recommended dose). The sub-plots understood the irrigation levels (60% and 100% of crop evapotranspiration) and planting densities sub-sub-plot with one plant per hole (1600 plant.hectare) and two plants per hill (3200 plant.hectare), spaced 2.5 x 2.5 m. The height of the plants was evaluated, stem diameter, leaf area and number of days from planting to flowering. The results were statistically evaluated by analysis of variance (F test). Nutrient levels not influence the variables studied. The higher plant density production cycle later, as well as the further development of plant height and leaf area index. |
