| Abstract | According to a survey of Demography and Health in 2007, in Indonesia toddlers death rate has reach 44 deaths per 1000 living births, with 193 thousand toddler deaths per year in other words 22 toddler deaths per hour. While in the data released by "Countdown to 2015", a NGO (Nongovernmental organization) under the UNICEF, stated that in 2011 there are 134 thousand toddlers passed away in Indonesia.This happens even though the Millenium Development Goals (MDGs) target of 2015 is 35 deaths per 1000 living births for Toddler Death Number in Indonesia. One of the highest factor of Toddler Death Number in Indonesia is the problem of the number and distribution of medics in Indonesia. According to the data provided by central officer of IDAI (Ikatan Dokter Anak Indonesia), the number of pediatrics in Indonesia is scarce, only 2.700 personnel. On another note, Information Technology has the field of Artificial Intelligence or AI. One of the subfield in AI is Expert System. Briefly, Expert System is a computer system / program that has the knowledge of one or more human expertise on a specific field.In this activity, an Expert System of child health disorder diagnosis will be developed. The result is the Expert System will be able to be accepted by user and the diagnosis result will be similar to a doctor diagnosis. |
