| Abstract | MIFTAH FAQIH. Identification of Acacia (Acacia crassicarpa) Leaf Diseases using Discrete Wavelet Transform and Backpropagation Neural Network. Supervised by YENI HERDIYENI. Identification of diseases in plants Acacia crassicarpa is one of the important things for PT. Arara Abadi (PT. AA) for use in pest and disease monitoring on the plant. In this case, PT. AA is still doing disease identification manually. This research build a computer-based system that can identify disease on Acacia crassicarpa plant. Identification can be done automatically with the help of this system. This research uses Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) method to extract the features and Backpropagation Neural Network as the method of classification. The features used are energy and entropy results from DWT decomposition. There are 3 classes of data namely leaf spot disease, line spots and healthy leaves. To get the best parameters on Backpropagation Neural Network, gridsearch method and 10-fold cross validation are used. The best model obtained accuracy value of 92.87% and from 1000 models made an average accuracy of 88.90%. |
