Woro Retnaningsih, M.Pd Key Word : Authentic Assessment, Writing skill, Curriculum 2013 This research is aimed to describe the ways of authentic assessment implementated by English teachers of Teaching Writing skill in Descriptive Text based on curriculum 2013 is in MTs N 2 Karanganyar. This study used qualitative research. The source of data in this research was the process during the activity in classroom, and teacher’s teaching plan for Descriptive Text assessment of seventh students of MTs N 2 Karanganyar in academic year 2018/2019. The data of this research was authentic assessment made by teacher 1 and teacher 2 at the seventh grade students of MTs N 2 Karanganyar in academic year 2018/2019. The data was collecting by the observation which supported Sudaryanto theory include Basics Technique “Teknik Sadap”(Listening Technique), Advanced technique II “Teknik Rekam” (Recording Technique), Advanced technique III “Teknik Catat” (Note Taking Technique). The data analysis technique used data reduction, data display and drawing conclusion. The result of this analysis showed that teachers of MTs N 2 karanganyar have expected authentic assessment in accordance with the existing permendikbud, because in Permendikbud No. 104 Tahun 2014 it is explained as teachers in authenticating students. Authentic assessments have been applied by teachers in MTs N 2 Karanganyar (Miss S & Mr. A) who have used several authentic assessments such as peer assessment, self assessment, portfolio performance, essay, and project. they applied the assessment in core activities, namely at 5M (Observing, questioning, experimenting, associating, and communicating). In the assessment given by the teacher, there are individual aspects. teachers assess students not only from the results of student work but also from KI-1 untill KI-4. It means that English teachers of MTs N 2 Karanganya had implemented authentic assessment based on 2013 curriculum on Permendikbud No 104 Tahun 2014. |
