| Abstract | In an increasingly competitive market caused by the phenomenon of globalization, it is essential the development of innovative ideas and projects by the organizations. The Information Age is characterized by the generation of a large volume of information in a short time, the high competitiveness and need for constant innovation in products and processes. People and organizations are constantly learning new ways to solve their problems. For companies, the challenge is because of the difficulty in systematizing the process of knowledge creation in order to retain it and improve it even with the intense turn over, the modification of the technology and of the defined organizational objectives. It starts from the principle that for the creation of knowledge from individual tacit knowledge mixing with the explicit organizational, it needs an environment that can only be provided through the organizational strategic direction and culture. Projects of Information Technology (IT) are characterized by intense exchange of knowledge in their construction process. The methodologies used in the process of software development can directly influence the way knowledge is shared by the staff and client and in adding value to the final product. Within this context, the relevance of this work is justified by the relevance of innovation relating with the knowledge for competitive survival of agile IT organizations. The methodology used was based on an exploratory research to establish the theoretical basis of the relevant subjects, because of its flexibility in relation to the planning and involved the literature review, questionnaires and structured interviews for the construction of a multicases study. The conceptual basis was used for both the creation of the survey instrument and to delimit the sample, which comprises the Arranjo Produtivo Local de Software de Curitiba’s (APL SW CWB) (a business cluster) software houses. The research used a methodology based in a survey as a conceptual and operational model through direct interrogation, using a questionnaire as a tool online, and within the focus group interviews that followed the protocol defined in this study. From the theoretical basis was possible to map the conceptual relationship between the practices of the topics discussed here. The tabulation of the questionnaires and interviews were used to determine the profile of the group. Finally, the multi-cases study was the base used to validate the assumptions proposed. The identification of mechanisms for the use of agile methodologies in order to systematize the practice of Knowledge Management and deepening anthropological focus on the professional profile of practitioners of these methodologies to identify more efficient ways to promote continuous learning are the suggested future studies. |
