| Abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan multimedia pembelajaran berbasis game edukatif pada matapelajaran Pemrograman Dasar. Ide pembuatan multimedia ini dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya penguasaan materi dan latihan soal oleh peserta didik pada matapelajaran Pemrograman Dasar dan dibutuhkannya media bantuan untuk memvisualisasikannya. Berdasarkan hal tersebut diperlukan cara belajar dan media yang dapat membantu peserta didik dalam mempelajari matapelajaran Pemrograman Dasar, salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan adalah metode latihan (drill). Latihan adalah sebuah metode pembelajaran yang bertujuan memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih konkret melalui penyediaan latihan-latihan soal yang bertujuan untuk menguji penampilan peserta didikmelalui kecepatan menyelesaikan soal-soal latihan yang diberikan program. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (RD-- This study aims to provide a game-based multimedia for Basic Programming subject in Vocational School. It was grounded from the fact that most of the students had a poor comprehension on teaching materials, limited exposure to complete tasks, and need on learning media to help the students visualized the material. Based on those facts, it was significantly needed an innovative learning media which can help the students to learn, one of them is through drilling method. Drilling is a learning method that gives students concrete learning experience through improving the students’ capability in problem solving in form of questions or exercises. This study employed the Research and Development (R & D) design, whereas and the media was developed by using System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The results of this study were: 1) a learning multimedia which has been proved by media experts with percentage of 74.2% and subject matter experts got 62.8%., 2) students' appreciation toward the media reached 74%, 3) game-based multimedia learning that can be used as a teaching aid in Basic Programming class. |
