The role of Islamic school based culture in shaping social character of Al-Azhar Pamulang Islamic Elementary School 15, Department of Teacher Education Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training. Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta. This study aims to describe how the role of Islamic school culture in Al-Azhar elementary school of Pamulang 15, especially in the first and sixth grade students. This study also aims to determine the formation of social character of students who are know through the Islamic school cultural. This research is qualitative research that the data analysis in this research is descriptive analysis technique. Research, data analysis in this research is descriptive analysis technique. The subjects of this study were principal, vice principal, first grade of home room (first grade), second grade of home room (sixth grade), parents, employees, students. The Data collection technique are usedsuch as observation, interview, and documentation. The validity of the data has been verified by using triangualition. The Data were analyzed by using through measure of the data, display of the data, and conclusions. The results of this study indicated that Islamic School Culture in Al-Azhar Pamulang Islamic elementary school 15 has been well done through the habituation of Islamic activities. In this implementation was not too maximal because there are some obstacles such as different cultures that are applied in the school environment with the existing culture in the family environment. In addition, the formation of students characters waslooking at from several students behaviors every day. Behavior of social care that seen in daily activities such as helping another students who are in trouble, help friends learn, do the infaqevery day, say hello and greet friends and much more. School that has Islamic culturerole to create students character in form of social character. |
